The Kenya National U15 team is set to face off with a Central Rift U17 Combined side on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru starting 1 pm.

The friendly match will be the fifth for the Junior Stars who are gearing up for the MIC Football Tournament, set to be held in April in Spain where Kenya will be up against Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Ajax, Manchester United, and Manchester City, among other top European sides, in the U16 category.

An Elite League, set to kick off in March this year, is also in the pipeline. Football Kenya Federation will run an U13 and U15 league made up of top academies across the country, as well as the national U15 team.

The team is currently put up at the Federation’s national center of excellence in Thome, Nairobi, on a homeschooling program that also has them take part in daily training sessions at the Wadi Degla club in Runda.
