Gaspo Women has pulled a 2-1 upset over Ulinzi Starlets in the FKF Women Premier League round six action on Sunday, February 7, 2021.

Mercy Airo netted a goal in the 43rd minute putting Gaspo Women in the lead right before half-time.

After the break, Winnie Kanyotu shot in the second goal for Gaspo Women in the 50th minute. Seven minutes later, Jentrix Kuyundi maneuvered Ulinzi Starlets’ consolation goal.

Thika Queens, meanwhile, outplayed Kibera Girls Soccer Academy 8-1 at the Ligi Ndogo grounds

Catherine Githae started off with a goal in the 2nd minute giving Thika Queens an early lead, however, Irene Namale replied with an equalizer for Kibera Girls Soccer in the 23rd minute.

Thika Queens got back on the lead with Rachael Otolo’s goal in the 25th minute. Mwanahalima Adam went on to add the third goal in the 36th minute, closing the first half scores at 3-1.

Upon resumption, Catherine Githae capped of her brace in the 57th minute, and right before the dust settled, Fauzia Omar came in with Thika Queen’s fourth goal in the 58th minute.

Wincate Kinyua proceeded to bag a fifth goal in the 67th minute as Sarah Chalovu maneuvered a goal past Kibera Girls Soccer’s defense to net a goal in the 78th minute.

Ruth Muruka’s mishap resulted in Thika Queen’s eighth goal in the 82nd minute, sealing off the scores at 8-1.
