Dora Achieng’s 24th minute opener for Mathare United Women was canceled out in the 33rd minute by Quinter Atieno to ensure a share of the spoils.
Kisumu All Starlets also put behind two back to back defeats to edge out Baringo Starlets 4-1.
Emmaline Adhiambo, Cynthia Akinyi, Cynthia Achieng and Vivian Wanjiku were on target for the victors. Baringo Starlets’ consolation was netted by Manyol Chieng.
Five more matches involving Thika Queens, Vihiga Queens, Spedag and Eldoret Falcons were postponed. This is owing Harambee Starlets commitments ahead of the upcoming CECAFA Women Championships to be held in Rwanda between May 11 and May 22, 2018.
