Kenyan Premier League sides Tusker and Posta Rangers will face off in the last GOtv Shield quarter-finals clash scheduled to be held in Thika on Wednesday, September 28, 2016.
The winner of the match, set to kick off at 3pm, will take on KCB in Nakuru on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at the Afraha Stadium, with Ulinzi Stars and Kariobangi Sharks locking horns in the second semifinals.
Entry fees to the game that moved to Thika due to unavailability of pitches in Nairobi have been waived by FKF.
“Nothing unifies us like Kenyan football,” said FKF CEO Robert Muthomi.
“And it is because of this that we have decided to waive gate charges for the Tusker VS Posta match that has been moved to Thika due to unavailability of pitches in Nairobi.
“In so doing we are trying to cushion travelling fans against spending more than they would have done had the match been in Nairobi,” added the CEO.
The winner of the competition will represent the country in the 13th edition of the CAF Confederations Cup in 2017.
