Kenya is set to kick off her 2018 Hero Intercontinental Cup campaign against New Zealand on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at the Mumbai Football Arena in India.
The match, scheduled to kick off at 5.30 pm EAT, will be the second of the tourney, with hosts India having got the tournament rolling on Friday, June 1, 2018, with a 5-0 win over Chinese Taipei.
Stars received a shot in the arm with the arrival of Coach Sébastien Migné, alongside his assistant Nicolas Bourriquet-cor, Goalkeeper trainer Guilaune Coffey and Osteopath Ludovic Breul in camp.
Thika United’s Dennis Odhiambo and Vihiga United’s Bernard Ochieng have also checked into camp for the four-nation tournament.
Kenya will next face hosts India on June 4, 2018, before winding up with a match against Chinese Taipei on June 8, 2018. The top two teams will face off in a final, slated for June 10, 2018.
The matches, which follow up on Kenya’s two international friendly matches against Swaziland and Equatorial Guinea in Machakos, are part of preparations for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers against Ghana and Ethiopia in September.
