Kenya will face India in the final of the 2018 Hero Intercontinental Cup on Sunday, June 10, 2018, at the Mumbai Football Arena.

This follows a 4-0 win over Chinese Taipei in the final group match played on Friday, June 8, 2018.

Dennis Odhiambo sent Kenya ahead in the 51st minute from close range following a corner kick by Ovella Ochieng.

Jockins Atudo then doubled Kenya’s lead only two minutes later from the spot after Piston Mutamba had been brought down in the box by Chinese Taipei goalkeeper Wen-Chieh Pan.

Timothy Otieno made it 3-0 in the 68th minute, latching onto a loose ball after Pan failed to clear his lines. A fourth would then come from Jockins Atudo with six minutes left on the clock.

Kenya consequently ends the four-nation tourney placed second with six points, similar to New Zealand, but with a superior goal difference.
