National football team Harambee Stars has checked into camp today, Sunday, November 26, 2017, ahead of the upcoming CECAFA Senior Challenge cup set to be held in Kenya starting December 3, 2017.

The team is set to hold its first training session on Monday, November 27, 2017, under the tutelage of new Harambee Stars coach Paul Put.

Gor Mahia defender Harun Shakava has been excused from camp as he is nursing an injury that consequently rules him out of the tourney. Zoo Kericho defender Isaac Kipyegon has since been called up in Shakava’s place. Also called up is Kipyegon’s teammate at Zoo, Nicholas Kipkirui.
