The Kenya National football team, Harambee Stars, is back in the country from India where the team finished second in the 2018 Hero Intercontinental Cup.

Stars lost 2-0 to hosts India in the final, played on Sunday, June 10, 2018, to take home the runners-up prize in the four-nation tournament, ahead of New Zealand and Chinese Taipei.

Kenya had earlier on edged out New Zealand 2-1 in the opening match of the tourney before rounding up the group matches with a 4-0 win over Chinese Taipei.

The matches were aimed at giving the coach a chance to gauge potential inclusions to the team, ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.

Kenya is set to face Ghana and Ethiopia later this year, with a return match against Sierra Leone also on the cards.
