Isebania made it two wins in two with a 0-1 away win against Agro Chemicals at the Chemelil Sports Complex on 1st May 2017. KCB was also held to a barren draw by Vihiga United at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos. Meanwhile, Wazito leaped to the summit of the league with a 3-2 win over St Joseph Youth at Camp Toyoyo

Free to air channel Bamba Sports beamed live two matches on Sunday 30 April at the Camp Toyoyo. First on the cards was a goal fest pitting Wazito against St Joseph Youth. A goal from the spot by Austin Ochieng and two more by Piston Mutamba and Eric Odhiambo gave Wazito an early 3-0 lead. St Joseph, however, scored two goals before halftime to reduce the deficit to only one goal. In the second half, Wazito held on to the slim lead for a 3-2 win

In the second game, Palos twice came from behind to hold Nairobi City Stars to a 2-2 draw. City Stars got a deserved lead through Ezekiel Odera in the dying minutes of the first half. Palos came into the second half more rejuvenated with Captain Bobby Kwaka restoring parity in the 61st minute. City Stars, however, responded almost immediately with a goal from the spot by Kanamuli Kapilima. A late Palos push for an equalizer ultimately paid off when Ben Baraza met a corner kick by John Wanda to score in added time. On the same day, Nakuru All Stars beat Administration Police 2-1 at the Afraha Stadium to move to sixth

Earlier on Saturday 29th April, Ushuru, Nairobi Stima and Police had all grabbed important wins. A brace by Moses Maina and a goal by Benson Amianda were enough for Ushuru to edge out Kibera Black Stars 3-0. Nairobi Stima also gained three points on the road with a 0-2 win away to GFE 105 at the Kipchoge Keino Stadium. Victor Ochami scored a brace to condemn the hosts to their third loss in a row. Kenya Police also edged out struggling Bidco United 3-2 at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru. Kevin Omondi, Esau Wasike and Clinton Kinanga scored for Kenya Police to render strikes by Sebastian Osodo and Mohammed Hassan mere consolation goals

Three matches were played on Monday 1st May, with two ending in stalemates. KCB was held to a 0-0 draw by Vihiga United at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos. MOSCA and Talanta also shared the spoils in a 0-0 stalemate at the Camp Toyoyo. At the Chemelil Sports Complex, NSL debutants Isebania edged out home team Agro Chemicals by a solitary goal scored by Alex Sunga
