Sofapaka and Kariobangi Sharks will face off in the final of the FKF SportPesa Shield following wins over AFC Leopards and Ulinzi Stars in the semifinals played on Sunday, September 23, 2018, at the MISC Kasarani.
After a barren first half, Elli Asieche stepped off the bench to score the lone goal as Sofapaka dumped out defending champions AFC Leopards. The match ended 1-0.
Earlier on, Kariobangi Sharks had brushed aside Ulinzi Stars 4-1. Eric Kapaito scored a brace to add onto strikes by Duke Abuya and Shafan Oyugi. Cliff Kasuti notched a late consolation for the Soldiers.

The final has been slated for October 20, 2018, with the winner set to take home a KES 2 Million prize, as well as a chance to represent the country in next season’s CAF Confederations Cup.
