Clinton Kinanga netted a goal in the 8th minute giving Kenya Police an early lead. Closing the first half scores at 1-0.

After the break, Migori Youth aligned to the tempo of the game as Justine Nyangwara shot in a goal in the 66th minute. Closing the scores at 1-1.

Meanwhile, at the Bukhungu Stadium, Soy United was also held to barren draws by Modern Coast Rangers as Mwatate United edged Muranga Seal 1-0 at the St. Sebastian Park
