The Kenya U17 Girls team will face off with Uganda in their final match of the CECAFA U17 Girls Championships on Tuesday, December 17, 2019.
The Junior Starlets have so far accumulated seven points from four matches and could finish at least third on the log after the final round of matches on Tuesday. The tournament is being played in a round-robin format.

“Our target was to expose these young girls on this big stage. As much as we would have loved to win it, I’m happy that the players expressed themselves to the best of their abilities,” said coach Jackline Juma.
“We are now focused on our final match. The team is motivated to give their all and I’m confident we’ll get a positive result,” she added.
The match kicks off at 4 pm EAT at the FUFA Technical Center in Jinja, Uganda.
