Football  Kenya Federation has concluded its countywide search for new talent to bring to the Kenya U17 national team in  Garissa County ahead of the looming CECAFA U17 Championships.

The exercise spearheaded by Kenya U17 head coach Oliver Page began on Friday, November 13, 2020, in the Nairobi and Thika regions. With Nakuru, Kisumu, Western, Machakos, Coast, and Meru regions having their day on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday respectively.

Selected players are set to report to camp on Tuesday, November 24, 2020, to prepare for the regional showpiece that is set to kick off on December 13 and culminate on December 28, 2020, in Kigali, Rwanda.

The team has been pooled in group B and will face off with Uganda and Ethiopia and the best two at the regional showpiece will book tickets in the U17 Africa Cup of Nations set to take place in Morocco in July 2021.
