The Kenya U15 National Team booked a place in the semifinals of the CECAFA U15 Championships in Eritrea following their 2-1 win over the hosts in their final Group A match played on Thursday, August 22, 2019.

Kevin Wangaya and Ibrahim Mone scored a goal apiece as the Junior Stars mastered three wins in four matches against Somalia, Sudan and hosts Eritrea, only dropping points to Burundi on Tuesday.

The team is now set for the semifinals set to be played on August 28, while the final has been scheduled for August 30, 2019, in Asmara.
