Moving forward, the 2021/22 season will feature the unified Women Premier League with a total of 12 clubs with the Women Division one League also having a total of 12 teams in each of the two zones.

A proposed FKF Women regional league is also set to be introduced as the third tier league which will feature the competing eight regions across the country.
