FKF National Super League side Nairobi City Stars will be on the road to face off with Nairobi Stima in one of six NSL matches scheduled for this weekend, Saturday, July 22 and Sunday, July 23, 2017. Clubs participating in the GOtv Shield will have a chance to catch up on Wednesday next week

Nairobi City Stars, under new coach John Amboko, has won two games in a row; a 2-0 win over Administration Police at Camp Toyoyo and a narrow 2-1 win over Isibania three days later. The team will be up against league favourites Nairobi Stima, who have a chance to go top of the log if they win. Nairobi Stima is third on the log with 38 points, similar to first placed Vihiga United and second placed Wazito, but with an inferior goal difference. Vihiga and Wazito will be in action in the GOtv shield against Kakamega Homeboyz and GFE 105 respectively

Meanwhile, fifth placed KCB will be in Mombasa to face off with coastal side Modern Coast Rangers. KCB lost footing in their bid for promotion when they suffered a 3-0 loss to Wazito. The Bankers, however, dusted themselves up with a win over St Joseph Youth. The team is now fifth on the log but only four points adrift of league leaders Vihiga United. Modern Coast is winless in three matches and will be looking to put behind a disappointing 2-0 loss to Kenya Police in their last match. The match will be played on Sunday, July 23

Nakuru All Stars

In the meantime, Nakuru All Stars will be on the road to face Agro Chemicals at the Chemelil Sports Complex. Under new head coach Ezekiel Akhwana, the Nakuru based side will be hoping to bounce back from an embarrassing 4-0 loss to GFE 105 in their own backyard. Agro Chemicals will also be hoping to rise up the log, having been patched at the bottom five for the better part of the season

Isibania will also be up against Palos at the Awendo Green Stadium on Sunday, while at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru, St Joseph Youth will be hosting FC Talanta. Administration Police will also be looking to put behind an eight-match losing streak when they host MOSCA at Camp Toyoyo. AP has not won a game since their 4-0 thumping of Agro Chemicals in April

Wazito, GFE 105 and Vihiga United, who will be in action in the GOtv Shield this weekend, will have a chance to catch up on Wednesday next week. GFE will host Kibera Black Stars at the Kipchoge Keino Stadium in Eldoret. At Camp toyoyo, there will be a double header that will determine who goes top of the log. Wazito will face off with Police in the first match before Vihiga United square it out with Ushuru in the stand out match of the day. The match will be a repeat of the GOtv Shield round of 32. Vihiga came out tops on post-match penalties after a stalemate in normal time
