Powermen Western Stima and Nairobi Stima picked up identical 2-0 wins over Modern Coast Rangers and Nairobi City Stars respectively in FKF National Super League matches played on Sunday, February 11, 2018.

At the Moi Stadium in Kisumu, two goals by Johana Mwita and Maurice Dukully ensured that Stima kicked off her quest for a return to the top tier on a positive note.

Nairobi Stima also shrugged off a disappointing finish to their 2017 season to see off Nairobi City Stars. Stephen Owusu and Alex Luganji were on target for Stima.

The win means Nairobi Stima is joint second on the log with Ushuru, KCB and Western Stima

KCB’s match against Muhoroni Youth that had been scheduled for Sunday at Camp Toyoyo did not materialize as the latter failed to turn up. The Bankers consequently take home all three points and a two-goal cushion.

Kangemi All-Stars

Earlier on Saturday, Bidco United, Isibania, Ushuru and Kibera Black Stars got crucial wins over Kangemi All-Stars, Nakuru All-Stars, Administration Police and GFE 105 respectively.

The matches pitting Kenya Police against FC Talanta and Kisumu All-Stars ended in identical 0-0 draws.
