    Nairobi Stima leapt to the summit of the FKF National Super League, albeit temporarily, despite dropping two points against Nairobi City Stars in a match played on Saturday, July 22, 2017. Vihiga United, Wazito and GFE 105, who were in action in the GOtv Shield Round of 16 over the weekend, will have a chance to catch up on Wednesday, July 26

    Nairobi Stima played out a barren draw with Nairobi City Stars in Naivasha, their sixth draw this season. The point gained was however enough to see The Power men occupy top spot with 39 points from 18 matches. Nairobi City Stars, meanwhile, has risen to eighth on the log with 26 points

    Midweek Action

    Vihiga United and Wazito will have a chance to reclaim top spot when they play Ushuru FC and Kenya Police respectively. Both matches will be played at the Camp Toyoyo grounds on Wednesday, July 26

    Ushuru will be plotting revenge against Vihiga after the latter dumped them out of the GOtv Shield a fortnight ago. Wazito, on the other hand, will be looking to make a point in their promotion push when they face Police. GFE 105 will also take on Kibera Black Stars at the Kipchoge Keino Stadium on the same day. GFE was dumped out of the GOtv Shield by Wazito and will be looking to bounce back. Kibera Black Stars, marking their debut season in the second tier, has been glued at 15th placed since May and will be hoping to make strides up the log

    In other results, Nakuru All Stars lost 1-0 to Agro Chemicals in Awendo. Administration Police also got back to winning ways with a 3-2 win over MOSCA at Camp Toyoyo. Three matches pitting St Joseph Youth against FC Talanta, Modern Coast Rangers against KCB and Isibania against Palos ended in 0-0 stalemates
