Kangemi All-Stars twice came from behind to salvage a point from their FKF National Super League round 23 match against Eldoret Youth played on Friday, March 29, 2019, at Camp Toyoyo.
Dennis Munyao had given Eldoret Youth a 22nd minute lead that was canceled out ten minutes later by Moses Osure. The first half ended 1-1.
The guests would, upon resumption, regain their lead through Hosea Koech’s 56th minute goal. A late surge by Kangemi All Stars, however, saw Emmanuel Obara restore parity in stoppage time, the match ending 2-2.
At the Ruaraka Grounds, meanwhile, Green Commandos pulled an upset over Ushuru, coming from a goal down to win 3-0.
Evans Odhiambo, Alex Achando and Collins Sichenje were on target for the guests with Brian Yakhama’s early opener turning out to be a mere consolation.
Three more matches will be played on Saturday, the highlight being a derby pitting Kenya Police against Administration Police.
