Ushuru returned to the top of the FKF National Super League following a 2-1 win over Administration Police in a match played on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at Camp Toyoyo.

Victor Ochieng netted an early opener for Ushuru in the 8th minute to set them on course for a crucial win. Nicodemus Asumwa, however, restored parity just five minutes later, the first half ending 1-1.

A flurry of missed chances by the Law Enforcers then ensued, and they were made to pay in the 51st minute when Brian Yakhama restored Ushuru’s one goal advantage.

The Taxmen would hold on for a win that takes them top of the table with 55 points, similar to Wazito, who however have an inferior goal difference.

Wazito had earlier in the day edged out Bidco United 1-0 at the same venue courtesy of a 42nd minute strike by Paul Acquah.
