Western Stima leaped back to the summit of the FKF National Super League following a 1-0 win over Kisumu All Stars on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.

James Ogada struck the lone goal in the 43rd minute which saw Stima go past the 60-point mark. The Powermen have garnered 61 points so far from 29 matches, with second placed Nairobi Stima trailing them with three points albeit with a match in hand.

Green Commandoes also bounced back to winning ways when they edged out GFE 105 4-1. Coast Stima meanwhile found the going tough at the Afraha Stadium in Nakuru, losing 3-0.

Earlier on Friday, KCB, Ushuru and Nairobi Stima all picked up crucial wins to maintain the top four status quo.
