Rising Starlets are upbeat ahead of the uphill but doable task against Uganda, in the 2022 FIFA U20 Women World Cup qualifier match set to be played on Friday, October 8, 2021, at the St. Mary’s Stadium, 4 pm.
The squad held a training session today, at the St. Mary’s Stadium in Kampala, Uganda.
While the players put the finishing touches on their preparations, head coach Charles Okere exuded confidence in his team’s capability to get a positive result in the return match against Uganda.
“Our aim is to attain a positive result against Uganda, and from the training, we have had, I believe that the players are ready for the tough but not impossible task ahead,” said Coach Okere.
The winner of the tie on aggregate will face the winner of the second-round tie pitting Mozambique against South Africa.
