Kariobangi Sharks, Kenya Police and Riverplate FC are through to the Quarterfinals of the FKF SportPesa Shield following wins over Modern Coast, Leysa FC, and Friendzone respectively on Saturday, July 21, 2018.

Sharks had to come from a goal down to dump out Modern Coast 3-1 in their match played at the Mbaraki Sports Club. James Mazembe, Bolton Omwenga, and Duke Abuya were on target for the guests.

Kenya Police, meanwhile, needed post-match penalties to go past non-league side Leysa FC while Riverplate edged out Friendzone 2-0 to also book a place in the last eight. Both matches, played at the Narok Stadium, were aired LIVE on Y254 TV.
