The match follows Kenya’s 1-0 win in the first leg, played on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

Lilian Adera scored the all-important goal in the 53rd minute from long range, a goal the Starlets held on for a crucial first-leg advantage.

Lilian Adera

Harambee Starlets right-back Lilian Adera scored the lone goal in the first leg, one the Starlets will look to leverage when they face Uganda in the second leg on Sunday

“We gave a good account of ourselves in the first leg. We have had adequate preparations for the return match and I am confident we will get a positive result,” said Starlets coach David Ouma.

Equatorial Guinea

The aggregate winner of the match is set to meet Equatorial Guinea in the second and final qualifying round, between June 4, and June 12, 2018.

Kenya made a maiden appearance at the 2016 showpiece in Cameroon, bowing out in the first round at the hands of Ghana, Mali, and Nigeria.
