
Deposed FKF Women Premier League Champions Thika Queens have kicked off this season’s campaign on an intimidating note with three wins in three, the latest being a massive 14-1 win over Baringo Starlets on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the Thika sub-county Stadium.
This follows earlier wins over Wadadia (3-2) and Vihiga Leeds (5-0), away from home, in the first week of action. Thika Queens thus tops the 16-team unified league with nine points and an 18-goal difference.
Second on the log is Wadadia, with seven points from four matches played. The Mumias based side edged out Soccer Queens 0-9 in their third match of the season played at the Gikambura Stadium on Saturday, before holding Mathare United Women to a 0-0 draw on Sunday at the Ruaraka Grounds.

Mathare United Women, meanwhile, is still unbeaten, having dispatched Baringo Starlets 2-0 in their opening match of the season, before edging out Kayole Starlets on a similar scoreline on Saturday, prior to their 0-0 draw with Wadadia on Sunday.
Spedag
At the Trans Nzoia Stadium, guests Spedag built up on a 3-1 loss to Gaspo Youth in their season opener to hold hosts Trans Nzoia Falcons to a 3-3 draw.

Makolanders, meanwhile, lost 5-2 to defending champions Vihiga Queens on Saturday at Camp Toyoyo before thrashing Baringo Starlets 9-0 on Sunday at the Ruaraka Grounds.
Palos also edged out Mombasa Olympic 1-0 at the Moi Stadium, Kisumu while at the Oserian Grounds, guests Vihiga Leeds fell 2-1 to Oserian Ladies in a match played on Sunday.
