Thika Queens have maintained their place at the top of the zone A FKF Women Premier League following their 7-0 win over Kayole Starlet on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the Thika Stadium.

Fauzia Omar gave Thika Queens an early lead with her goal in the 1st minute with her counterpart Lydia Wagenda following through with another goal in the 5th minute.

Mwanahalima Adam netted a goal in the 21st minute that closed off the half-time scores at 3-0.

Upon resumption, Lucy Ikhumba shot past Kayole Starlet’s defense to bag a goal in the 75th minute. No sooner had the grass settled than Wincaate Kinyua went on to add the fifth goal for Thika Queens in the 75th minute.

Mwanahalima Adam went on to cap off her brace in the 85th minute as Sarah Chalovu shot the final goal for Thika Queens in the 91st minute, leading to a 7-0 win against Kayole Starlets.

Meanwhile, in Zone B, Kisumu All Starlets failed to maintain their second position after Trans Nzoia Falcons Forward Martha Karani netted a goal three minutes past stoppage time at the Kenyatta Stadium, closing the scores at 1-0.
