The Kenya U17 national team lest 3-2 to Tanzania in her third match of the UNAF U18 tournament played on Friday, April 12, 2019, at the Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria, Egypt.

Coming from back to back losses to Egypt and Algeria in the first two matches of the five nation tournament, the Junior Stars yet again failed to sparkle, and will have to work harder in the final match of the tourney against Morocco.

Hamisi Kanduru netted a hattrick for the young Tanzanian side, neutralizing first-half efforts from Isaiah Abwal and Kevington Machika.

Kenya will play Morocco in the closing match of the tournament on Sunday, April 14, 2019.
