The win sees Vihiga leap to second on the log with 74 points, one less than league leaders Ushuru. Wazito is third with 74 points, similar to Vihiga United but with an inferior goal difference, while KCB is fourth with 73 points.
All the four sides have a chance to gain promotion to next year’s top tier league, with only two matches left.
