Bidco United and Ushuru FC got the second leg of the FKF National Super League underway with wins over Kangemi All-Stars and Administration Police respectively in a LIVE doubleheader played on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at the Thika Stadium.

A goal apiece by Benson Amianda, Nelson Marasowe and Baron Jobita saw Ushuru emerge 3-0 winners over AP in the first match played at 1 pm.

Hosts Bidco United would then edge out Kangemi All-Stars 2-1 in the second match, courtesy of goals by John Walubuka and Sean Opwora. Paul Kibande netted the guests’ consolation.

Ushuru has consequently risen to the summit with 38 points, two ahead of Western Stima, who are set to face Modern Coast Rangers on Sunday. Bidco United, meanwhile, is fifth with 31 points from 19 matches.

In other matches played on Saturday, June 16, 2018, Kibera Black Stars fell 2-1 to GFE 105 at the Sudi Stadium while Nairobi City Stars held Nairobi Stima to a 1-1 draw in Naivasha.

The win was GFE 105’s first in 13 matches while Nairobi Stima will rue missing out on their fifth win of the season at the hands of the eighth-placed City Stars.

Four more matches will be played on Sunday, June 17, 2018, with a doubleheader set to light up the Mbaraki Sports Club.

Coast Stima and Green Commandos, promoted to the second tier league this season, will square it out at 1 pm before Modern Coast Rangers play host to league leaders Western Stima at 3 pm.
