Thika Queens pulled a 2-1 upset over visiting Vihiga Queens, consequently breaking their unbeaten run, in one of four FKF Women Premier League matches played on Sunday, April 28, 2019.

Rachael Muema got Thika Queens in control with a 20th-minute looping effort from long range, a goal the hosts held onto until halftime.

Thika came back even more rejuvenated in the second half with Fauzia Omar stretching their advantage with the second goal in the 50th minute.

The goal seemed to be a wake-up call to Vihiga Queens, with Terry Engesha pulling one back in the 65th minute, but the hosts determination saw them hold on for their seventh win this season.

Trans Nzoia Falcons also picked up a 3-1 win over Eldoret Falcons while at Camp Toyoyo, newbies Kibera Girls Soccer Academy edged out Makolanders 2-1.
