It will be a Kenyan affair in the final of the 3rd edition of the SportPesa Cup, set to be played on Sunday, January 27, 2018, at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

This comes after SportPesa Premier League sides Bandari and Kariobangi Sharks dispatched Simba and Mbao FC respectively in the semifinals played on Friday, January 25, 2018.

A goal apiece by William Wadri and Wilberforce Lugogo saw Bandari stun homeboys Simba 2-1 in the first semifinal played at 2 pm.

Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards had earlier on Wednesday, bowed out of the competition at the hands of Mbao FC and Simba respectively.

The winner of the competition will take home KES 3 Million as well as a chance to play English top tier side, Everton.
