Kenyan Premier League Defending Champions Gor Mahia are through to the CAF Confederations Cup group stages despite going down 2-1 to SuperSport United.

Harun Shakava had scored into his own net to give the South African side a 61st-minute lead. The lead did not last long with Francis Kahata restoring parity a minute later.

Thabo Mnyamane restored SuperSport United’s lead, but it wouldn’t count, Gor Mahia going through on the away goal rule. K’ogallo had earlier on April 8, 2018, edged out SuperSport 1-0 at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
