Harambee Stars through to CECAFA semis after come from behind Sudan win

Harambee Stars will contest the semifinals of the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup scheduled for Tuesday, December 17, 2019, in Kampala, Uganda.
This follows a 2-1 come from behind win over Sudan in their second Group B match of the regional showpiece played on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at the Startimes Stadium in Kampala, Uganda.

The first few minutes of the first half were rather subtle as both teams were studying their opponent. However, the Sudan team forward  managed a late goal at the 30th minute.

Harambee Stars unleashed their wrath on the second half as their forward Hassan Abdallah bagged an equalizing goal at the 65th minute.Team forward, Oscar Wamalwa, maintained the tempo and bagged the winning goal for Kenya at the 76th minute.

Harambee Stars is slated to play with Zanzibar on Saturday, December 14, 2019, Kampala,1;30pm.
