The Kenya U17 national girls team is set to play against Eritrea in their second match of the CECAFA U17 Girls Championships in Uganda.

The team thrashed Djibouti 14-0 on Monday and currently tops the 6-team standings,  with the tournament being played in a round-robin format.

“We have prepared mentally and physically for this tournament and I believe we are able to take on any team as they come,” said Coach Jackline Juma.

“I was happy with not only the result but also the performance in our first match. We are now looking forward to giving even better tomorrow,” she added.

The match is set to be played on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at the FUFA Technical Center in Jinja, Uganda, starting at 11 am, EAT.
