Football Kenya Federation has moved to credit three points in Kisumu All-Stars’ favor after Wazito was adjudged to have fielded an ineligible player in their match played on Sunday, April 21, 2019, at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.
Midfielder Teddy Osok, who had accumulated five yellow cards in matches against Shabana FC (Round 6), Bidco United FC (Round 8), Fortune Sacco FC (Round 13), Nairobi City Stars FC (Round 20) and Bidco United FC (Round 27), featured in the match despite having been on the suspension list. Wazito had won 4-0, but have since had all the three points debited.

“The FKF Leagues & Competitions Committee in its sitting on Wednesday, 24th April 2019 deliberated and decided as follows:
- That the FKF Secretariat duly communicated to all NSL Clubs the suspended players for NSL Round 28 Matches.
- That in accordance with FKF Rule 7.5(b), Teddy Osok, License Number FKF00352 was suspended for the match against Kisumu Allstars FC having accumulated five yellow cards in the league matches against; Shabana FC (Round 6), Bidco United FC (Round 8), Fortune Sacco FC (Round 13), Nairobi City Stars FC (Round 20) and Bidco United FC (Round 27).
- That in accordance with FKF Rule 3.5(k) and FKF Rule 3.8, Wazito FC have hereby forfeited the match and the match has been awarded to Kisumu Allstars FC on a three points, 2-0 score basis. Any yellow cards and red cards recorded during the match shall be allowed to stand.
- That the player, Teddy Osok, License Number FKF00352 is suspended for the next league match, NSL Match No. 282 against Coast Stima FC,” read part of the letter sent to Wazito FC, signed by FKF General Secretary Robert Muthomi.

Following the decision, Wazito has dropped to second on the log with 57 points. Kisumu All-Stars, meanwhile, has gone top with a similar point tally but with a superior goal difference.
