The National U20 Football team has intensified preparations for an upcoming friendly match against Egypt with a 1-0 win over Mathare United in a build up friendly match staged at Camp Toyoyo on Wednesday, February 28, 2018.
After a cagey first half that saw both sides fail to find the back albeit with plenty of missed chances, Musa Masika would score the lone goal in the 80th minute from an assist by John Mwangi, who turns out for Mathare United at club level.

Egypt Friendly
The Junior National team is set to face Egypt in a two-legged friendly slated for March, as a build-up to an U20 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifier against Rwanda, slated for early April.
Close to 100 players, scouted from the ongoing Chapa Dimba na Safaricom as well as FKF Leagues, had a chance to audition for a place in the team, in a four-day selection exercise at the MISC Kasarani, with a final squad of 30 players selected for the upcoming assignments.
