Football Kenya Federation will today, Friday, March 2, 2018, hold a one-day coaching seminar ahead of the Central Region Chapa Dimba na Safaricom Youth Tournament final matches scheduled to kick off on Saturday at the Thika Technical Training Institute.
The seminar targets coaches whose teams took part in the tournament as well as those who graced the basic/ advanced coaching course offered by FKF last year.
“Our partnership with Safaricom is not only aimed at developing youth and women football but also creating capacity for our grassroots coaches,” said FKF Technical Director Andreas Spier.

The coaches will be taken through the relevance of the tournament being reserved for the youth. They will also be educated on new techniques such as warm-up drills.
Succeeding the coaching seminar will be the semifinals, scheduled for Saturday, and thereafter the finals, set to be held on Sunday.
