Kariobangi Sharks secured a 5-2 victory over Sofapaka in their FKF Premier League match played on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Dandora Stadium.

The game was defined by John Mark Makwata’s outstanding performance, as he netted four goals. Makwata opened the scoring with two first-half goals in the 1st and 31st minutes, Stephen Bwire contributed to Sharks’ lead by scoring the second goal in the 28th minute. Sofapaka managed to pull one back through Onyango Jacob, but the first half concluded with Kariobangi Sharks leading 3-1.

The second half saw Darius Msagha finding the net for Sofapaka however, Makwata added to his goal tally with two more in the 63rd and 84th minutes securing a 5-2 victory for his side.

In other fixtures, Gor Mahia clinched a narrow 1-0 win over Shabana, courtesy of a goal from Benson Omalla in the 35th minute. Meanwhile, Bidco United and Kakamega Homeboyz battled to a 2-2 draw at Dandora Stadium.

Elsewhere, Bandari and Ulinzi Stars settled for a goalless draw against Posta Rangers and Muhoroni Youth, respectively, while Nzoia Sugar and KCB played out a 1-1 stalemate.

Gor Mahia maintains their lead at the top of the FKF PL standings with 63 points, with second and third placed Kenya Police FC and Tusker yet to play their round 29 matches. FKF PL continues tomorrow, Sunday, May 12, 2024.
