Fortune Sacco eased past the Michael Olunga Football Academy (MOFA) in the 2023/24 FKF Division One League playoff to seal a spot in next season’s second tier FKF National Super League.

The match, played at a packed Dandora Stadium on Saturday May 18, 2024, ended 3-0 in favor of the Kirinyaga-based side.

Elias Murage put Fortune ahead in the 11th minute from the penalty spot for a 1-0 halftime lead.

Late in the second half, a goal a piece by Jacob Wangui and Mark Epaa in the 79th and 81st minutes sealed MOFA’s fate to secure promotion for Fortune.

The Division One Zone A League runners-up now join Zone A champions 3K FC and their Zone B counterparts APS Bomet in next season’s second tier.
