FKF Technical Committee Chairman Muriithi Nabea who also doubles up as the FKF NEC member Eastern Region has presided over the closing ceremony of a CAF C License coaching course on Friday, July 30, 2021, at the Kenya School of Special Education (KISE) in Kasarani.
Also in attendance was the Football Kenya Federation CEO Barry Otieno.
60 coaches have benefitted from a month-long CAF C coaching course which was being concurrently run in Mombasa and Nairobi under the tutelage of Leonard Odipo and Leonard Saleh in Nairobi and Twahhir Muhiddin and Jones Kyallo in Mombasa.
During the closing ceremony in Nairobi, FKF Technical Committee Chairman Muriithi Nabea congratulated the participants on completing the month-long course and urged them to use their acquired knowledge to impact the grassroots which is a key factor towards improving the standards of football in the country.
” I would like to congratulate the participants who have successfully completed the month-long CAF C coaching course and would like to urge them to use their acquired skills from this course to impact the grassroot players who will grow in their football careers with the proper knowledge and in the long run, the standards of football in the country will improve, ” said FKF Technical Committee Chairman Muriithi Nabea.
Earlier on, 129 coaches who took part in the refresher course were certified by the Confederation of African Football at the CAF C License Level.
