The Kenya U20 National team is set to face Tanzania in their second match of the CECAFA U20 Championships in Jinja, Uganda.
The Rising Stars beat brushed Zanzibar aside in the opening match of the competition on Sunday and will be looking to carry this momentum against the Tanzanian side who likewise won 4-0 against Ethiopia in their first match.
“I was happy with not only the result but also the overall performance of the team,” said coach Stanley Okumbi.
He added, “Tanzania is a good side if their performance in the opening match is anything to go by. We will be out to give a good account of ourselves and I’m confident we will get a good result.”
The match has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 24th, 2019, as the FUFA Technical center in Jinja, Uganda, starting 1 pm EAT.
