Forward Elvis Rupia was twice on target as AFC Leopards beat BetKing Premier League newcomers Bidco United 2-0 on Sunday, December 6, 2020, at the MISC Kasarani.
The first half was rather slow as both teams registered bookings in their attempts for goal that fell naught with the sound of the buzzer.
After resumption, Ingwe kept up the pressure and in a well-orchestrated sense of teamwork, Elvis Rupia popped in a goal at the 67th minute.
Rupia got his second goal in the 82nd minute after maneuvering past Bidco’s defense to tap in from close range. The match ended 2-0.
Meanwhile, at the Utalii grounds, both Tusker FC and Bandari FC played out a barren draw while Sofapaka registered their first win of the season after they beat Western Stima 3-1 at the Wundanyi Stadium.
Kakamega Homeboyz drew 1-1 with Posta Rangers FC at the Bukhungu Stadium.
