This as the 2018 SportPesa Shield winners, Kariobangi Sharks, takes on Djibouti side Arta Solar7 in the CAF Confederations Cup preliminary round.
Both sides will start off at home, with the first legs slated for November 27/28, 2018, while the second legs will be played on December 4/5, 2018.

Gor Mahia bowed out of the 2017/2018 CAF Champions League at the hands of eventual tournament finalists Esperance de Tunis, but would go on to grace the Group Stages of the CAF Confederations Cup.
Sharks, meanwhile, will be making a debut on the continental scene having bagged their first silverware in the top flight when they won the 2018 SportPesa Shield.
