The Kenya National U23 team, the Emerging Stars, will on Friday, jet out to Mauritius ahead of the second leg of their Olympics Qualifier, slated for Sunday, November 18, 2018.
This comes after Kenya produced an outstanding performance to edge Mauritius 5-0 in the first leg played on Wednesday.
Johnstone Omurwa, James Mazembe, Pistone Mutamba, Sydney Lokale and Joseph Okumu were on target for the hosts, a win that puts the Emerging Stars in pole position for a place in the second round, where they will face either of Sudan or Seychelles.
If Kenya goes past the second round, a third round will also be in line, with the winner set to grace the Africa U23 Cup of Nations in 2019, in Egypt. The best three sides from the competition will feature in the 2020 Summer Olympics.
