Kariobangi Sharks coach William Muluya has exuded confidence his charges ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup preliminary round match against Djibouti side Arta Solar7.
This as he noted that they will not underrate their opponents and will approach the match with caution.
“We are well prepared. The players are in high spirits as it is their first time on the continental scene, which is enough motivation for us,” said Sharks coach William Muluya.
“We are both first timers in the competition but we will in no way underrate them (Arta Solar7). We will approach the match with caution and I’m confident we’ll get positive results,” noted the coach.
Influential Sharks forward Eric Kapaito, in the meantime, echoed his coach’s sentiments, noting that their debut in the Championship is enough motivation for his teammates to give their best.
“Morale is high. Most of us will be making debuts which will be a motivation for us to give our best,” said Sharks forward Eric Kapaito.
The match has been slated for Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at the MISC Kasarani starting 4 pm.
Tickets will retail at a flat rate of KES 100, and will be sold on match day at the match venue.
