Kariobangi Sharks booked a place in the final of the SportPesa Shield following a 1-0 win over KCB in the semifinals played on Sunday, May 12, 2019, at the Machakos Stadium.
An own goal by former Sharks defender Bolton Omwenga was all the defending champions needed to book a third succesive final slot.

Sharks will thus face Bandari in the final after the latter easily strolled past SS Assad 6-1 in the first semifinal played at 1 pm.
The final has been slated for June 1, 2019, with the winner set to take home a KES 2 Million prize as well as a chance to represent the country in the 2019/2020 CAF Confederations Cup.
