Harambee Starlets will kick off their quest for regional glory on Sunday, November 17, 2019, when they face Ethiopia in their opening match of the CECAFA Women Championships.
Starlets dropped out of the Olympics Qualifying race last week, and now have their sights set on the regional tourney, set to be played over the next two weeks.
“This tournament is a new chance for my players to redeem themselves,” said coach David Ouma.
“We are well prepared and fully focused. The players are motivated and raring to go and I am confident that we will post a positive result,” he added.
Starlets have been pooled in Group B alongside Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Uganda.
