In a thrilling match, AFC Leopards finally ended their long wait for victory against rivals Gor Mahia, winning 2-1 at Nyayo Stadium.
Despite Gor Mahia having a chance to take the lead through a penalty, they missed and were punished when Victor Omune scored for Ingwe through a penalty. Austin Odhiambo leveled for Gor, but Maxwell Otieno’s goal for AFC Leopards secured the win.
Meanwhile, Tusker’s 1-0 win over Kariobangi Sharks has put them back at the top of the table, with just one point separating them and Gor Mahia.
