The excitement of the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Nairobi Elite Youth League 2023 came alive once again as action resumed on Sunday, May 21, 2023, at Jamhuri High School in Nairobi. Teams from various age group categories took to the field, displaying their skills and determination.

In the under-13 category, Pumwani Sports Academy dominated the game, securing a 7-1 victory against Bleb Youth. Meanwhile, Acakoro Academy and Legacy Football Academy battled it out to a hard-fought 1-1 draw, showcasing their resilience. Soka Talent proved their prowess by defeating Silver Eagles with a 6-1 win.

In another thrilling encounter, 3T emerged as the stronger team, securing a 5-1 victory against GFS. Hakati Sports Academy showcased their determination, clinching a hard-fought 1-0 win against Kahawa Pride. The under-13 category witnessed a total of 11 exhilarating matches.

The matches continued with Kahawa Pride facing off against Volcano FC, while Legacy Football Academy clashed with Acakoro in an intense matchup. Kariobangi Sharks Academy went head-to-head against Ufasimba Academy, Hakati Sports Academy battled against Sakata Soka Stars, and Ligi Ndogo faced off against Blue Bombers Sports Academy.

In other thrilling encounters, Babadogo Youth went up against Kesa Academy, Generation Sharp Foot entertained 3T Soccer Academy, Cheza Sports played against Express Soccer, and Black Panther faced off with Faces Sports.

Moving on to the under-15 and under-17 categories, a total of 15 matches were played among teams drawn from different parts of Nairobi. The tournament aims to raise young talent and nurture them into becoming established players. Kesa displayed their skill and determination, securing a solid 2-0 victory against Baba Dogo, while Volcano FC triumphed over Kahawa Pride with a 3-1 scoreline. In another intense match, Sakata Soka Stars clinched a narrow 1-0 win against Blue Bombers Sports Academy.

This marks the second edition of the FKF Elite Youth League, which officially kicked off in March 2023 at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani. The league provides a platform for young players to showcase their abilities and develop their talent under the guidance of experienced coaches.

The FKF Nairobi Elite Youth League continues to captivate fans and stakeholders as it nurtures the next generation of football stars in Nairobi.
