Zoo, Nairobi United FKF Division One League Playoff Called Off

The Football Kenya Federation Men’s Division One League Playoff between Nairobi United and Zoo has been abandoned.

This decision, occasioned by crowd trouble in the 85^th minute, was arrived at to guarantee the safety of the players, match officials, fans and support staff. At the time of the abandonment, Nairobi United had just gone ahead courtesy of an 80^th minute goal by Brian Lusamukha.

Consequently, the FKF Leagues and Competitions committee shall make a decision on the match upon receipt of the match officials’ reports.

The winner of the match shall gain promotion to the FKF National Super League alongside Division One Zone A champions Rainbow and their Zone B counterparts Luanda Villa.
